So this is going to be a great way just to free up some of that room on the inside of our Pathfinder here. Thule Squarebar Crossbars Installation - 2015 Nissan Rogue- Video

Hey, guys, today we have a 2015 Nissan Rogue and we're going to do a test of the Thule square bar crossbar roof rack system. Now, this roof rack system is going to mount to the raised side rails of your Rogue and it's going to allow you to get your favorite accessories on top of your roof, whether you've got a bike rack, a kayak carrier, or even a cargo box. The carrier with the square bar design is going to have a more rugged look to it, so it might have a bit more wind noise and drag when compared to the wing bar setup, which is a more aerodynamic shape, but you're going to have that more rugged, outdoorsy look which is sometimes favorable, depending on the person that is putting it on their Rogue.Now, it's made up of a couple of different parts. We have our 47-inch square bar crossbar up top. The square bars have been redesigned by Thule, instead of having a foot pack that comes around the top and crimps it right there, we're actually going to have a track, right here, just like in the wing bars, to where we can slide our foot pack in, and then it's going to attach down from there. It's also going to lock inside the track.Now, down below what's connecting our crossbar to our raised side rail is going to be our Evo raised rail foot. more

Yakima CoreBar Steel Crossbars Installation - 2018 Nissan Pathfinder- Video

Today we have a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder and we're going to do a test fit on the Yakima CoreBar crossbar roof rack system.Now, this roof rack system is going to mount to the raised side rails on your Pathfinder and it's going to allow you to get your favorite accessories, whether you've got a bike rack, a kayak carrier, or even a rooftop cargo box up on your roof and get those proper gear on your roof so you don't have to take up any space inside your vehicle.Now, this roof rack's made up of two different parts. Up top, we're going to have our Yakima CoreBar cross bars. These are going to be made out of steel with a vinyl coating on top to help protect it from rust and corrosion. If I take off the end cap, you're going to see the steel right here on the center, and like I said, that vinyl is just covering all around it and along with this end cap, it's going to protect it from rusting over time.Now, we have the 60 inch ones on top but if you want a longer crossbar, to maybe have some more crossbar overhang, you can opt for the longer bar, just see etrailer.com, and one thing you don't want to make sure of is that your crossbar opening does not extend past your side view mirrors, as long as you're within that range then you can go ahead and get the bigger size.Down below we're going to have the Yakima TimberLine towers connecting our CoreBar crossbars down to our raised side rails. You can see that it has this bracket that comes over the top of our CoreBar and clamps down on top of it to keep it in place. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Aeroblade Edge roof rack system. This is going to be part number TH7502-TH7502. The nice thing about this system is that it's going to come with everything you need to get it installed. We have just the first bar installed for right now, so you can get a look at it, and then we'll install the second bar together.Like Thule's other Aeroblade systems, this is going to cut down on wind noise. The design of it is an aerodynamic shape, so it's kind of like an airplane wing where it has that rounded edge on the front and the tapered edge on the back, so you're not going to have to worry about that howling going down the highway, or having to get a fairing on the front to reduce that wind noise. It's already built in, to make it a lot quieter a system. more

Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack Installation - 2015 Nissan Rogue- Video

Speaker 1: Okay, today on our 2015 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be taking a look at the Malone Airflow2 Roof Rack System. This is part number MPG215. Now, this is an aero style crossbar, and what that means is that the shape of the bar is an aerodynamic shape. You can see it's kind of shaped like an airplane wing with this rounded edge of the front tapering towards the back.So the nice thing about that is that it's gonna reduce wind noise and drag, so you don't have to worry about that whistling and howling sounding that you can get out of the old style bars like square and round. Now we just have the one bar installed for now, we're going to do that second one in a little bit together. So let's take a closer look at the airflow2 before we get to that.So this is an aluminum bar, and that means that it's going to resist rust and corrosion. more

Now how we got it to this point, we set it onto the factory raised side rails, and then we picked a point up at the front here, mainly this line, and we measured back from that equal distance on both sides. Inno Roof Rack Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Nissan Rogue we're going to be test fitting the Inno Aero Roof Rack system consisting of part numbers INXB100-2. These are the 39 inch aero crossbars. We'll also be using part number INXS100 and these are the flush feet for the factory raised side rails. We already have our front bar installed on our vehicle and how we got it to the point that it is now, we set them on top of the factory raised side rails and we measured back from the point such as this line here the same distance on both sides to keep it even and then we tightened it down. Our bar on the table here is going to be the rear bar for the side rails and we already have it partially assembled on our table right now.This is everything that comes with the kit. You don't need any tools to install this so this is pretty much an easy install. more

It also provides a nice slip resistant surface for your cargo basket or any other cargo you may have attached. Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2017 Nissan Altima- Video

Today on our 2017 Nissan Ultima, we're going to be test-fitting the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack system consisting of part numbers RRVA126S-2, these are the silver crossbars; part number RRRLKVA, and these are the 2500 Series legs for the Vortex Aero Crossbars; and part number DK381, and this is the custom fit kit for your Ultima that clamps it on to your vehicle. Now, we already have the front on installed, and you can see that it has this nice aerodynamic shape to the bar itself, and that coupled with the rubber strip on the top here will actually cut down the wind noise and drag while you're driving. It is lockable, so once you actually attach both crossbars to your vehicle, it is secured to your vehicle as well. Now, the combined weight capacity for both bars is 165 pounds, although you always want to double-check with your owner's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that kind of weight. Also, these do come in black as part number RRVA126FB-2. All right, let's go ahead and show you how the rear one goes on. We already have it partially assembled on our table, here. We'll go ahead and take our 2500 Series leg, and we'll actually slide it into our track here with this metal bracket, here. It'll just slide in like so, and then we're going to go ahead and do a couple of measurements here to determine the spacing between this edge here and our leg. Normally, you would have measuring strips that you would cut to length, put them in there so it's more of a permanent application, but for demonstration purposes, we'll just go ahead and measure it out. You can find these measurements in your instructions. more
